With the first three weeks of the Mustang Cup now complete, the teams prepare themselves for their final set of games before the wildcard and subsequent knockout phase. Here's a quick rundown on the action so far.

Group A

The Signals A team sit top with a perfect record so far. In spite of not completing LL S3, they will be hopeful that player availability will not stunt what has been a very good start to the campaign. Elsewhere, there have been impressive results for RLC B team meaning the Gunners will need a large map swing to close the gap and qualify for the champions knockout. Blesma have had some mighty good map performances which isn't reflected in their standing but, with a game in hand, the will be looking to overhaul the gunners for the 3rd place that grants automatic qualification for the knockout phase.

Group B

After slogging it out in their opening game, the REME A and B sides appear to have the tops slots locked down with one game to go. They will also have a decisive say in the out come of the 3rd and 4th positions as they face the Signals B and Infantry B teams respectively. With only K/D to separate the Infantry and Signals, it will go down to the wire as to who clinches the 3rd place automatic qualification position in this group. The H4H team will be disappointed with some of their performances so far but remain in contention if they can put decent performances into their final 2 games.

Group C

Second Seeds RLC A team top group C in a large part due to their week 1 win of the Sappers. The epic encounter finished 3-2 and set the tone for what has been a a collection of closely fought games. With the AGC Red Leg vs Sappers game postponed until next week, the midfield battle remains wide open with only 1 map/game rating separating the three teams that includes the Armoured Corps. Whilst the AGC Sentinels seem cut adrift in 5th, getting a few map wins from their final two games could see them leap frog other teams should results go their way.

Group D

The group of death, need we say more? The Reapers have been ruthless in this group thus far which is hardly surprising considering they are the team to beat in UK Military Esports scene currently. Much like Group C, the midfield battle promises to be a corker in the final gameweek. After their defeat to the Infantry, Legion games will be looking to right the wrongs in their final 2 games. They will know they could have come away with a 3-2 win but the infantry held strong in the final moments of each map to close out a 5-0 win. Do not count out the Sappers B team however, MOHAWK and his team loom just behind, ready to pounce on any mistakes. AGC Old Timers anchor the group but, they will be looking to turn things around in the lead up to what will likely be their wildcard game in Gameweek 5.
